Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

Journal of Manufacturing and Intelligent Systems (JMIS) adheres to the ethical standards and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and is committed to maintaining the highest level of academic integrity, transparency, and fairness in scholarly publishing.

All submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the data, appropriate citation of sources, and disclosure of any conflicts of interest.

JMIS employs a double-blind peer-review process, ensuring that editorial decisions are based solely on scientific merit, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope, in accordance with COPE guidelines.

Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editors are not permitted to submit manuscripts to JMIS. This rule is strictly enforced to prevent conflicts of interest and to ensure an impartial and transparent review process.

Any form of plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, unethical research practices, or citation manipulation is considered a serious violation of publication ethics. In cases of ethical misconduct, JMIS follows COPE-recommended procedures, including rejection, correction, or retraction of the published work when necessary.
