Our First Issue Is Coming!
We are now accepting articles for our January-June issue.
Journal of Manufacturing and Intelligent Systems (JMIS) is committed to ensuring the originality, integrity, and ethical standards of all published content, in accordance with the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
All submitted manuscripts are screened using similarity detection software prior to the peer-review process. Manuscripts with excessive or unethical overlap will be rejected or returned to the authors for revision, depending on the nature and extent of the similarity.
As a general guideline, JMIS applies the following similarity thresholds:
The overall similarity index must not exceed 20%
Similarity from a single source should not exceed 5%
These limits exclude references, standard methodological expressions, and commonly used technical terminology.
The use of artificial intelligence (AI)-based tools (e.g., for language editing, grammar correction, or formatting assistance) is permitted, provided that such tools are used responsibly and do not replace the authors’ original intellectual contribution. Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the content, including any sections assisted by AI tools.
The use of AI tools to generate fabricated data, results, analyses, or conclusions, or to misrepresent authorship, is strictly prohibited and will be treated as a serious ethical violation.
Any detected plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, or unethical use of AI at any stage of the publication process will be handled in accordance with COPE-recommended procedures, which may include rejection, retraction, correction, or notification of the relevant institutions.
